I'm a senior frontend engineer from the Netherlands.

I focus on frontend architecture, micro frontends, and UX. Most of my time is spent thinking about structure — how systems scale, how teams collaborate, and why things that look clean in Figma tend to get messy in production.

I care less about frameworks and more about foundations:

• How do you structure a design system so it survives five teams?
• How do you prevent micro frontends from turning into micro chaos?
• How do you align UX and engineering so components mean the same thing to both?

I've worked on enterprise platforms where governance matters, where ownership is unclear, and where "just make it configurable" slowly becomes a liability. That's the reality this site is built around.

Outside of tech, I used to work as a dive instructor in Australia — which turns out to be excellent training for staying calm when systems are under pressure. I ski, snowboard, padel, and have a long-term plan to combine serious engineering work with van life.
